RobertClarkphoto A lone beach shack sits on a deserted beach near the Peruvian city of Huarmey. Shot on a full moon, near the tomb of a Wari Nobel man, El Castillo de Huarmey is an often looted location. The pyramid mausoleum on the southern coast of #Peru provides evidence of a Wari Empire around 1000 A.D., pre-dating the Inca Empire. Out of this tomb artifacts including gold, silver, bronze, textiles, and bodies. These human remains are thought to be the wives of a #Wari noble man who died in the area on his journey north up the coast.
